Terms & Conditions

Last updated August 15, 2026

These Terms & Conditions ("Terms") govern your access to and use of TheGoodGameTheory's Chrome extension, website, and related services (together, the "Service"). By installing the extension or using the Service, you agree to these Terms.

1. Eligibility

You must be at least 13 years old to use the Service. If you are under the age of majority in your jurisdiction, you may only use the Service with the involvement of a parent or guardian.

2. The Service

TheGoodGameTheoryreplaces your browser's new-tab page with a board of short daily games, including optional camera-based movement games that use on-device pose detection. You may play as a guest or create an account to sync progress across devices.

3. Accounts

  • You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account and any activity under it.
  • You must provide accurate information when creating an account and keep it up to date.
  • We may suspend or terminate accounts used in violation of these Terms.

4. Acceptable use

You agree not to:

  • Reverse engineer, decompile, or tamper with the extension beyond what applicable law permits.
  • Use automated means (bots, scripts) to inflate streaks, scores, or usage statistics.
  • Interfere with the Service's operation or attempt to access it through unauthorized means.
  • Use the Service for any unlawful purpose or in a way that infringes the rights of others.

5. Subscriptions and billing

  • The Free plan is available at no cost, indefinitely.
  • Paid plans (currently "Flow" and "Crew") are billed on a recurring monthly or yearly basis, as selected at checkout, and renew automatically until cancelled.
  • You can cancel a subscription at any time; see our Refund & Cancellation policy for full details on cancellation and refunds.
  • We may change subscription pricing going forward. If we do, we'll give you reasonable notice before the change applies to your next billing cycle.

6. Intellectual property

The Service, including its games, design, code, and branding, is owned by TheGoodGameTheory or its licensors and is protected by intellectual property laws. We grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use the Service for personal, non-commercial purposes, subject to these Terms. All other rights are reserved.

7. Camera-based games

Movement games are entirely optional and process camera input on-device only, as described in our Privacy Policy. You use these games at your own physical risk — stop immediately if any movement causes discomfort, and consult a medical professional before starting new physical activity if you have a relevant health condition.

8. Disclaimers

The Service is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. We do not guarantee the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or available at all times.

9. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, TheGoodGameTheory will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of data, profits, or goodwill, arising from your use of the Service. Our total liability for any claim relating to the Service will not exceed the amount you paid us in the 12 months preceding the claim, or $50 if you have not paid us anything.

10. Termination

You may stop using the Service and delete your account at any time (see our Data Deletion Policy). We may suspend or terminate your access if you materially breach these Terms, with notice where reasonably practicable.

11. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be reflected by updating the "Last updated" date above. Continued use of the Service after changes take effect means you accept the updated Terms.

12. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of India, without regard to conflict-of-law principles, unless otherwise required by the mandatory consumer-protection laws of your country of residence.
